A PROJECT BY INTERACT CLUB OF Mansukhbhai Kothari National school.
The Interact club of MKNS got into action since the time they got inducted in 2023. They had regular meetings and came up with two projects. One being the winter collection and donation drive.
Within a weeks’ time the interactors along with fellow mates collected 165 blankets and about 100 jackets and clothes.
On 24th January 2024 the team identified a Niwasi school for the Deaf and dumb named Ayodhya Charitable trust college.
It was a great experience for all. Six interactors, the coordinating teacher Ms Damini and Pradnya Gokhale, representing Rotary went to visit the School. It was heartwarming to see young students of the age group from 3 years to 16 years actively learning. They seemed to have a passion to learn even if they had disability in hearing and speaking.
They were thrilled to receive the blankets distributed by the Interactors. They thanked by giving a flying kiss. That is the way they say Thank you. Mr Naik the incharge of the trust was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm the interact club members showed.
In all it was a successful project. They are going to start working on their second project ”Save water” from next week.
