The First day of the new rotary year was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm with the theme of “Metro In Metro”.
Metro rotarians teamed up at Garware college station for the first Metro train going to Vanaz. It was exciting to see the station go up to the train platform and finally board the train. There was no rush at all and we virtually had the train to ourselves. It was fascinating to see the part of the city from well above the road. After the ride back from Vanaz, we were taken to the control room and were told about the working of the metro. The metro outing was followed by a scrumptuos breakast at Shree Ganesh Hall. More than thirty rotarians attended the Metro ride!
